Job Description
Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Roll Truck / Fork Lift Driver for the Franklin, Kentucky facility.
This position is responsible for the following:
Responsible for upkeep of the equipment and the day to day operation of the equipment.
Loading and unloading boxcars and/ semi-trailers using a roll truck and stack the paper in warehouse.
Supplying correct paper to appropriate presses
Monitoring current/upcoming jobs on press several times per shift
Calculations of the amount of paper needed by the press for each job
Finding and documenting damage on incoming receipts for paper rolls and/or skidded material
Accuracy when bar-coding and updating the Roll Paper System / Freight Management System
Bar coding internal/external receipts/shipments of paper
Entering manifest into bar coding programs
Staging, sorting, documenting, and warehouse rejected rolls
Preparing bill of ladings for external/internal shipments
Proper handling/movement of skidded materials and waste product from presses
Qualifications
Material Handler is expected to learn the layout of the warehouse, pressroom and production equipment. Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast pace, detail oriented production environment and work independently with little supervision. Position requires good math, verbal and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task and priority job needs. Forklift and roll truck experience, computer skills needed.
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and work weekends, overtime and holidays.
