DRIVER RECRUITER/TERMINAL MANAGER
Tri-National, Inc., a fast-growing, truck load carrier in a JIT environment, headquartered in Earth City, MO, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Terminal in
Franklin, KY as Driver Recruiter/Terminal Manager. This position would support the Operations and Safety Managers in carrying out the responsibilities of the Operations and Safety Departments and ensuring the company DOT compliance in its day-to-day operations. TNi has dedicated itself to providing seamless service for the trading partners in Mexico, US, and Canada.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with potential new hires about the benefits of being a TNi Driver
Field recruiting and cold call potential candidates
Maintain the day-to-day operations of the Terminal
Pre-qualify and assist with Driver processing, including background, MVR, and DAC screens, employment verifications, scheduling physicals, drug tests, orientation, and complete the hiring process
Administer orientation for new hires
Assist Drives to ensure on time pick-ups and deliveries to meet our Customer's needs
Ensure Driver safety, including DOT compliance, safe working conditions, and maintaining TNi Standards & Policies
Assist with the weekly recruiting report, Driver retention program, safety supplies for the terminal, and managing advertising for Driver recruiting
Attend career fairs and other driver recruiting opportunities
Assist with Comdata, safety issues, and other TNi needs as requested
Preferred Requirements and Skills:
Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400
Possesses fluency in English and Spanish
Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
Background in Human Resources/Recruiting, a plus
