Requirements

  • Valid drivers license at all times.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

  • High School GED.

  • Pass a background check of DMV report, criminal, and work history.


Training

  • Pilot Flying J Truck Care Centers will train and certify you in TIA Commercial Basic Tire Service.

  • Advancement as Certified Technicians by obtaining ASE Medium-Heavy Duty T2-T8 Certifications Tests.

  • Pilot Flying J will pay registration fees and pay bonus for each test passed.

Duties

  • Ability to drive a service truck (F-350) to an onsite location where guest is broken down.

  • Understanding Commercial Truck Tire Brands, Models & Sizes.

  • Able to remove and install, mount and dismount tires

  • Proper inflation of commercial truck tires

  • Maintains product knowledge and explain features and benefits.

  • Assesses value of trade-in tires and provides quotes to customer

  • Other duties may be assigned.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
